Account Reimbursement or Transfer

Reimbursement

To request a reimbursement from a school meals account, please fill out the form below. Reimbursement comes in the form of a check and may take up to three weeks to process.

Canyons School District can refund payments processed with a credit card only if:

  • Payment was made through RevTrak online payments
  • Payment was made within 12 months of refund request
    • If a lunch payment was made longer than 12 months ago, the refunds will be processed by check and can take up to three weeks to process.

Parents/guardians requesting a refund for active students must make sure their contact information in Skyward is updated. Checks will be mailed to the address found in Skyward. Only Parents/guardians can request a refund.

If your student is inactive (graduated, moved out of the district) in the school district, please contact Nutrition Services directly at 801-826-5381.

Prior to issuance of reimbursement, positive balances may be transferred to accounts with negative balances in the same household (as listed on Skyward Family Access).

Lucie Chamberlain

Alta View Elementary

If a movie about super teachers were ever made, Lucie Chamberlain would be a prime candidate for a leading role. Fortunately for her kindergarten students at Alta View Elementary, she already thrives in a supporting role for them. Parents thank her for being a “super teacher.” She is also described as an “amazing colleague.” Whether students need help in the classroom or from home while sick, Lucie goes above and beyond to help them learn, overcome fears, and feel important and cared for. Lucie is the reason a number of kids went from hating school to loving it, according to parents. The way she exudes patience, sweetness, positive energy, and love for her students with special needs melts is appreciated and admired. One parent noted: “Both my kids wish she could be their teacher forever.” Another added:  “She treats every student like their learning and their feelings are her priority.” Super teacher, indeed!
