Professional development is learning for the purpose of earning or maintaining professional credentials, such as academic degrees or professional licenses. This learning can occur through formal coursework, conferences, and informal learning opportunities situated in practice.

MIDAS is a professional development platform overseen by the Utah State Board of Education. Educators can register for USBE-credit courses.
HYPE
High Yielding Practices for Educators (HYPE) sessions are designed to support educators in implementing practices that yield the greatest gains for students.
Technology Cert.
This Technology Certification program consists of two levels and is designed to help educators, administrators and achievement coaches in the Canyons School District become technology leaders in their schools.
