Draper Park Middle students may be learning online for the next two weeks, but they’ll still have access to free, nutritious meals.
Draper Park is one of Canyons District’s open, curbside lunch sites where any child, 18 years of age or under, can pick up a free sack lunch and cold breakfast to enjoy the following day. Due to a sustained increase in COVID-19 cases in the community, the school has pivoted to online learning. But those who have been relying on Draper Park’s meal service can still visit any one of three open lunch sites operated by Canyons District.
Parents can pick up sack meals at any of the following curbside locations without having their children present. Pick-up times vary and are determined by each school.
- Butler Middle, 7530 S. 2700 East, Cottonwood Heights
- Midvale Middle, 7852 Pioneer Rd., Midvale
- Jordan High, 95 E. Beetdigger Blvd., Sandy
Draper Park students may also receive a meal from any Canyons District school in which a sibling is enrolled. Schools ask, however, that they preorder their meals so that the kitchens know how much food to prepare.
