Hillcrest High student Micah R. Johnston has risen to the top. The son of Paul and Connie Johnston last spring earned a perfect 36 composite score on the ACT college-entrance exam, placing him in the top one-tenth of one percent of the 1.6 million students nationwide who took the ACT last school year. The ACT consists of tests in English, math, reading, and science, which are scored on a scale of 1-36. A student’s composite score is the average of the four test scores.
