Businesses and non-profits that are advertising events, products or programs that come with a cost to our families or employees may post their flyers directly to Peachjar and the District will receive notice to approve based on content. This is a paid advertisement service. All electronic materials promoting events, community organizations, classes, and/or other services or products must receive District approval prior to being posted, displayed, or distributed to students or District employees. Canyons School District no longer distributes paper flyers. Peachjar is the service provider for electronic flyer distribution. District approved eflyers are sent directly to parents’ inboxes and posted online so parents can easily view information.
Canyons partners that offer free events, products or programs will also post to Peachjar, but may request that Canyons waive its distribution fee. This includes those who offer a significant discount to Canyons families and employees, including offers that give a percentage of sales/proceeds back to the Canyons Education Foundation to support our teachers and students.
Community organizations and business partners will be asked to upload flyers on the Peachjar website. Flyer content will be reviewed and approved based on adherence to District Rules and Guidelines.
The organization will be asked to do the following:
1. Posting Fee: Paid to Peachjar via Peachjar Credits
2. Distribution fee: Paid to Canyons Education Foundation for the benefit of schools, teachers & student programs
Distribution Fee Exceptions:
All materials must contain a disclaimer on the flyer with the following language: “Distribution of these materials is in no way an endorsement by Canyons School District of services, activities, and/or products.”
Please also refer to the Canyons District Advertising Guidelines.

If a movie about super teachers were ever made, Lucie Chamberlain would be a prime candidate for a leading role. Fortunately for her kindergarten students at Alta View Elementary, she already thrives in a supporting role for them. Parents thank her for being a “super teacher.” She is also described as an “amazing colleague.” Whether students need help in the classroom or from home while sick, Lucie goes above and beyond to help them learn, overcome fears, and feel important and cared for. Lucie is the reason a number of kids went from hating school to loving it, according to parents. The way she exudes patience, sweetness, positive energy, and love for her students with special needs melts is appreciated and admired. One parent noted: “Both my kids wish she could be their teacher forever.” Another added: “She treats every student like their learning and their feelings are her priority.” Super teacher, indeed!
