Banner Sales

Advertising banners may be purchased for placement at many Canyons schools. Banner contract and agreement must be completed with External Relations prior to banners being placed. Each school makes the decision if they have space available and the desire to have banners at the school. Canyons External Relations department maintains records of which schools agree to have banners placed and will negotiate all banner contracts on behalf of these schools.

Banners Placed on Canyons Property

(excluding sports and arts venues at high schools)

  • The cost is $100 per month, per standard location.
  • For high traffic locations including Eastmont Middle, Union Middle, Hillcrest High, and Jordan High the cost is 1-mo. $200, 2-mo. $300, 3-mo. $400, 4-mo. $500, 5-mo. $600 or 6-mo. $700 per location.
  • Banners must be replaced after 6 months

Field Rentals – Banner Discount

Organizations with approved Field Rental Agreements through Canyons District may receive 1 banner placement of your choice for up to 2 months. Any additional banners are at regular price.

High schools have other internal advertising opportunities as fundraisers. Contact each school individually to learn more about:

  • Stadium and Venue banners (internal facing)
  • Student directories
  • Programs for performing art events and athletic teams

Purchasing Banner Advertising

  • Please read our advertising guidelines and notes below.
  • Email marie.loudon@canyonsdistrict.org including
    1. the name address and phone number of your organization,
    2. a brief description, and
    3. When and how long you would like your banner to be displayed. Please allow 1 week for processing and school notification prior to anticipated display date.
  • For additional questions, contact  Marie.Loudon@canyonsdistrict.org 
  • We will send you the total amount due with instructions to make your payment online.
  • Each school(s) must be notified by our office prior to displaying your banner(s). We will provide you with a copy of your contract for each school with final instructions including when you may proceed.

Please Note:

  • The banner advertiser is responsible for creating and supplying the banner. Banners may not exceed 3’X6′ in size.
  • Each banner shall contain a disclaimer stating, “This Banner is in No Way an Endorsement by Canyons School District or this School of any Services, Activities, and/or Products.”
  • Banners either need to be removed by advertiser within the agreed upon time period, or can be renewed prior to the original expiration date up to a maximum of 6 months.
  • At the expiration date the advertiser will need to claim the banner. After which, the school may remove and dispose of the expired banner for you. Stated removal date will be entered on the signed agreement with advertiser and returned with receipt of purchase.

Lucie Chamberlain

Alta View Elementary

If a movie about super teachers were ever made, Lucie Chamberlain would be a prime candidate for a leading role. Fortunately for her kindergarten students at Alta View Elementary, she already thrives in a supporting role for them. Parents thank her for being a “super teacher.” She is also described as an “amazing colleague.” Whether students need help in the classroom or from home while sick, Lucie goes above and beyond to help them learn, overcome fears, and feel important and cared for. Lucie is the reason a number of kids went from hating school to loving it, according to parents. The way she exudes patience, sweetness, positive energy, and love for her students with special needs melts is appreciated and admired. One parent noted: “Both my kids wish she could be their teacher forever.” Another added:  “She treats every student like their learning and their feelings are her priority.” Super teacher, indeed!
