Canyons District will adopt a four-day work week in the summer.
Starting Monday, June 16, the Canyons Administration Building, Canyons Support Services Center, and all schools will be open Monday through Thursday of every week, except on the weeks when employees have days off for the Independence Day and Pioneer Day holidays. The schedule is as follows:
June 16-19 Four 10-hour workdays Monday-Thursday
June 23-26 Four 10-hour workdays Monday-Thursday
June 30-July 2 Closed Thursday, July 3 for the Independence Day holiday; work 10-hour work days Monday-Wednesday
July 7-10 Four 10-hour work days Monday-Thursday
July 14-17 Four 10-hour work days Monday-Thursday
July 21-23 Closed Thursday, July 24 for the holiday; work 10-hour days Monday-Wednesday
July 28 Return to five 8-hour workdays
Ten-hour workdays begin at 7 a.m. and end at 5:30 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch.
