Utah Indigenous Day Storytelling Festival Glimpse

Canyons was pleased to host the 2013 Utah Indigenous Day Storytelling Festival Nov. 26, 2013. The event featured renowned storyteller Dovie Thomason, a trainer and lecturer at Yale University, and graphic book illustrator Dimi Macheras. The pair conducted student and teacher workshops, which were streamed live to students in neighboring districts and rural Utah via UEN interactive broadcasting. In this video, Macheras works his magic while Thomason interviews with media about her craft.
