Bravo! Hillcrest student Carl Colby is about to take a bow with the nation’s elite student musicians. The cellist has become the first student in Canyons District history to be named to the All-National Honor Orchestra, sponsored by the National Association for Music Education.
As part of this prestigious recognition, Colby will join talented student musicians from across the country for a gala concert in Nashville, Tenn., where he will perform under the baton of some of the nation’s most prominent conductors. The Oct. 30, 2013 performance will be held at the Presidential Ballroom of the Gaylord Opryland Hotel.
