Canyons District announces several new leadership appointments.

The following have accepted new administrative roles in Canyons District schools.  The appointments are effective on or before March 5, 2013. 

Todd Theobald, currently Principal of Willow Canyon Elementary School, is the new Principal of Alta View Elementary School. He replaces Valerie Shaw, who resigned to accept an administrative position at a charter school in Davis County.
 
Marilyn Williams, currently Canyons’ Associate Director of Special Education, will be the new Principal of Willow Canyon Elementary, replacing Theobald.
 
Doug Hallenbeck, Assistant Principal of Mount Jordan Middle School, will become a new Assistant Principal at Union Middle School. He replaces Patti Bowen, who resigned to accept an administrative position in the Jordan School District.
 
Kami Anderson, now the Achievement Coach at Mount Jordan Middle, will become an Assistant Principal at Mount Jordan Middle, replacing Hallenbeck.   
 
“We feel so fortunate to have such great people on our leadership team,” said Canyons Superintendent Dave Doty.
 
The Canyons Board of Education on Feb. 19, 2013 ratified the appointments.
