A Canyons District educational technology specialist was recently named the Utah Coalition for Education Technology’s Young Educator of the Year.
Camille Cole, who was given the award at the UCET conference on March 2, 2012, has taken a leading role in several key projects, including CSD’s annual film festival, school technology grants and the District’s new Educational Technology Endorsement program for elementary and secondary teachers.
From the UCET Web site: “The administrators, teachers, and students Camille works with trust her as an expert in teaching, educational technology, and curriculum. She trains them in technology tools and software, helps them with classroom projects, and models best teaching practices.”
