Time is running out to enroll in a new program designed to help your 11th grade student plan for life after high school. By now, you should have received information about the “Charting My Path for Future Success” program, which closes for enrollment Thursday, Oct. 31. We wanted to make you aware of a new development we feel will give families greater comfort in enrolling while also making it easier to enroll. Instead of entering a student’s Social Security number as part of enrollment, families can now enter these numbers: 888-88-8888.
Through the Charting My Path program, students have access to new coaching to help them set goals for:
- Getting a job or enrolling in college
- Exploring employment opportunities and career interests
- Attaining job skills
- Taking advantage of social supports
- Preparing for independent living
Students are eligible to participate if they are currently in the 11th grade, have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP), and are planning on graduating in 2026 with a regular diploma. Again, space is limited. We ask eligible students to opt into the programs using this secure link by Thursday, Oct. 31.
